Job Description:
Eckert’s Rod & Custom located in beautiful North West Oregon is looking for an Auto Service Technician, who would like the opportunity to work towards a long and rewarding career at ERC.
It’s an exciting time to bring your skills to ERC. We are a growing shop with lots of new and exciting builds, and this position plays a critical role in ensuring we maintain our excellent attention to detail and leading class quality. The builds we do here at ERC are a blend of the classic styling of the 50s and 60s with new modern performance, comforts, and amenities you would see in a high-end sports car today. We're looking for a hard-working team member who knows the ins and outs of modern automotive hardware and has the skills and knowledge to assist in intergrading and installing the hardware on our builds. This will keep our shop and projects running smoothly.
Primary Job Duties:

Assist in finished assembly of cars and trucks
-
Assist in installing wiring harness, shocks, engines, and other drive drain components.

Doing general fabrication
REQUIRED SKILLS

Knowledge of:

Wiring equipment

Custom suspension design and adjustment.

Safe work practices

Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
Skills in:

Basic use of personal computers

Reading and obtaining diagrams and instructions

Use of hand tools

Ability to:

Maintain effective working relationships with other members of a work team

Maintain neat, accurate, and legible records
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years of age and meet the following requirements:
Education:

High school diploma or GED
Experience:
-
One or more years’ experience being a service technician.
